The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, aged 13 ¾

Becoming a teenager means having problems. And if you too go through puberty, you should definitely not ask Adrian Mole for advice: Not only are his parents breaking up because his mother has an affair with the neighbour, but Adrian has also fallen in love with the most desirable and hottest girl in school. Pandora, however, prefers boys who are awesome and rather rebellious. As far as his character is concerned, you would feel slightly confused because he regards himself as  the “intellectual type” – Adrian writes more or less expressive poems and reads books written by famous novelists. “Nerd” could be a description that would suit him in a similar way.

Anyway, Adrian is trapped between a disorganized and old-fashioned father, a mother who tries to escape from her normal and quite boring life and friends he can´t count on. Definitely great qualifications to survive the time when parents become problematic and girls are hard to understand.

You don’t want to miss these unforgettable insights into Adrian’s eventful life full of chaos, fun, disaster and passion.
